Volunteering in Children’s Ministry

At Clinton Evangelical Free Church, WE LOVE CHILDREN!

One of our passions is teaching children about God in a fun, nurturing and safe environment. We believe one of the best ways to serve in our church is to pour into the young hearts God has entrusted us with.

When serving as a volunteer in children’s ministry, not only do you experience first-hand the transformation of young lives, you experience a community of like-minded people who know that growth in Christ always occurs when you give your life away to serve others.

Serving in children’s ministry is for ALL of us, not just a chosen few. Together, we believe it is reasonable to expect each E-Free family to actively engage in and support the spiritual development of our children.

Our desire is that each volunteer will experience more love, more joy, more ministry and more of His presence as you step out in faith into the mystery of leading a child to Christ.

There is a place for every gift and level of experience in  our children’s ministry.

Our children’s ministry consist of three main areas:

Nursery
Sunday Morning Study Groups
Children’s Church
Awana (Wednesday Evenings)

Substitute Information

In the lives of our kids, your consistent presence is vital to the process of their life-change. As you build relationships with them, you will discover that no one can actually take your place. But, we understand that it may be necessary to take a weekend off due to illness or a planned vacation. Finding substitutes can take time so please give as much advanced notice as possible.
